Is Riyadh Academy Khuzam academically selective?

Riyadh Academy follows the academic standards of Riyadh Schools Group. As the curriculum is primarily delivered in English, students are expected to demonstrate an appropriate level of English proficiency to fully engage with the learning experience.

Is there an entry assessment?

Yes. All applicants complete a diagnostic assessment in English, Mathematics, and developmental readiness.

This helps us understand each student’s current level and ensure appropriate placement within the academic program.

What are your class sizes?

KG (20 Student), Grade 1 – Grade 8 (25 Student).

We’ll notify you via email or text message within a week after the admission test.

What grade levels does the school offer?

The school offers education from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Is there a waiting list?

There will be limited student spaces in the school, once a class is filled, a wait list will be created to allow the appropriate planning and preparation for the opening of a new class within the appropriate section of the school.

What are your standards for selecting the academic faculty?

As an international school, we recruit teachers from across the region, with the majority of our faculty consisting of Saudi educators and Arab expatriates.

What curriculum does Riyadh Academy Khuzam use?

Riyadh Academy follows the American Common Core standards, providing a rigorous and internationally recognized curriculum.

Do students wear a school uniform?

Yes, all students are required to wear a school uniform. Information about the uniform will be provided upon enrollment.

Which Learning Management System (LMS) does Riyadh Academy Khuzam use for learning and school updates?

We use Classera, a secure, integrated Learning Management System that allows parents and students to access lessons, assignments, school updates, and communication through a single platform.

Do you offer ECA (extra-curricular activities)?

Yes. Please contact our admissions team to learn more about the range of extra-curricular activities available.

Do you provide lunch?

Yes, an external catering company provides hot and cold meals with additional cost.

What devices do students use?

The devices used vary by grade level:

  • Elementary students: iPads
  • Middle & High School students: Laptops

It is important to note that parents are responsible for providing these devices for their children.

Do you have a Secondary School?

Yes, we will open grade by grade from 2027.

Where are admissions assessments conducted?

Admissions assessments take place at the Khuzam Sales Center. Exact details will be shared with families once the assessment is scheduled.
